Use these directions! Other travel sites may lead you deep into the local swamp where you will hear banjos! No joke, this has happened. Ok, maybe not the banjos, but we did find one group of travelers deep in the Tuttle Marsh Swamp.
From the South:
Best route to Standish MI, then take US-23 North to M-65. Go North on M-65 to River Rd. You will go through three small towns, Twinning, Whittemore, and finally Hale. River Road is just before you cross the AuSable river, if you cross a BIG river with a dam on your left, turn around. Take River Rd 11 miles to Old Orchard Park.
From the North:
Take M-65 South to River Rd. then River Rd to Park.
From the East:
